sandy was a category 1 really. a category 3 could change manhattan. locally we might have to think p about storm surge barriers that cost billions of dollars. they have to be several feet high. holland does this very well. people in new orleans might be laughing like you think that's going to make the difference? you leave that up to the government to do? we have to consider something, because we can't just sit here because bigger storms will come more often, and we have to deal with that....
